Are you going? Come learn about what our partners are doing in the lower reaches of the Cook Inlet drainage. Find more details below.

When? April 5th and 6th, 2017

Where? Sterling Community Center, Sterling, AK

Call for abstracts is open. This is a great opportunity to hear from participating partners on the work they have been doing related to fish habitat, and to connect with experts in the fields of climate change, fish passage, wetlands and watershed science, habitat mapping and more.

One Week Away!

We are one week away from the 9th Annual Mat-Su Salmon Symposium!

All are invited to a public evening lecture on Thursday, November 17 at 6:30PM at the Palmer Community Depot. Late registration at the door on both Thursday and Friday is possible, though lunch is not guaranteed. Come learn about salmon and their habitat in the Mat-Su Basin! We’ll see you there!

10th Annual Mat-Su Salmon Science & Conservation Symposium

2017 marks the 10th year of bringing people together to network, information share, collaborate and stay updated on the latest salmon and salmon habitat related efforts in the Mat-Su Basin through the annual Mat-Su Salmon Science and Conservation Symposium.  We are beginning planning for this year’s event. Do you have a keynote speaker or session topic you think would be of particular interest? Do you have ideas on how we could make this year’s Symposium even better? If so please get in touch – and consider joining the 2017 Symposium Planning Committee. For more information, contact Jessica Speed.
