In 2011, Cottonwood Creek was included in the National Fish Habitat Partnership’s “Waters to Watch” list.
Check back soon to learn more about why Cottonwood Creek was designated a Water to Watch.
Waters to Watch are a collection of rivers, streams, estuaries, watershed systems and lakes from across the country that will benefit from strategic conservation efforts to protect, restore or enhance their current condition. These waters also provide a snapshot of efforts by Fish Habitat Partnerships nationwide. The Waters To Watch annual campaigns goal is to highlight community based conservation efforts that leads to the reversal of the persistent declines in our nation’s aquatic habitats.
