In the Mat-Su, it’s impossible to imagine life here without salmon. Each summer, millions of salmon surge up the mighty rivers and vast web of lakes and tributaries that drain the landscape we call home. They feed our friends and family and bring an annual influx of vital nutrients back from sea when they return to spawn. They feed our economy too.
